Glorious T-shirts!

I love t-shirts. I could not do laundry for a month and still have plenty of t-shirts to wear. I have been collecting them for years and wear them all as often as possible. I have given plenty away to friends and Goodwill, and I have a special bin in my closet for ones I can't bear to part with, but don't wear anymore.

About a year ago I said "no more" to t-shirts because I wanted to expand my wardrobe to more than just jeans and tees, but a few weeks ago TeeFury was selling something I just couldn't resist.

I paired my new Ron Swanson shirt (bigger image here) with my same skinny jeans from the other day...but instead of wearing them down, I cuffed them to about mid-calf and paired them with my x-hi red Chucks and argyle socks. Since it's chilly I also have a gray Mossimo moto jacket, but it's impossible to find pictures of it so I'll have to take one myself when I get home.

Also I have this robot bracelet from Hot Topic. I don't know how I feel about it. I washed my hands earlier and the bracelet got wet and a bunch of the paint seeped on to my arm? It was weird. And makes me feel like it's very cheap. Damn you Hot Topic. I used to love you.

Fingerless Gloves

Fingerless gloves. I fucking love them. They're one of the few things I actually like about the colder weather.

I went to H&M this weekend and had to decide between two shirts. I went with the one pictured because it was slightly cheaper and had brighter colors.

Those boots! I love tall black boots. So so much. I got those at Hot Topic when the one near me was closing. I was shocked to see they're still available on the website, mine are at least two years old, maybe older.

Also I rarely ever wear skinny jeans (blech) so I only have the one pair, tucked into boots all the time. I might cuff them and wear them with my red x-hi chucks but I'm not sure about that yet.

It's a chilly one today, hence all the leather.

I got the t-shirt from the Boy's department at Kmart. Don't judge me, I love Batman (as you will soon come to realize). The Docs are a staple. I must have Docs every winter. They're sexy, they're durable, and they are the warmest, most waterproof boots I've ever owned. The higher the better, as far as I'm concerned!

The skirt is amazing. I found it at Torrid. I usually don't really like their clothes, but there are few things I find sexier than a pleated skirt with knee-high boots.

The leather jacket I actually found at a thrift store near me for $30. That place was amazing and I miss it. It's not exactly like the one in the picture, but close enough.

Happy birthday, Brother!

We have to run errands and then have cake with my brother, who is turning 27. Here is what I will be wearing!

The green thing in the corner is a green snap-bracelet with a watch in it. I got mine at Old Navy, but oddly they aren't on Old Navy's site. I found a similar picture on Amazon. I love it. Best ten bucks I ever spent.

I also have amazing kitty-print tights to be worn under skinny-flares that I have torn apart. My red Chucks and the red in my Outsiders shirt is about as far as coordinating colors goes with me.

DRI

My boyfriend and I went to see DRI the other night, and it was crazy. The night was a bit chilly but the inside of the bar must've been 90 degrees. It was, as they say, butts to nuts. So I'm glad I dressed for comfort. I almost wore a skirt but this outfit was a better choice for a mosh pit.

Also I got hit on by two guys. One was drunk and one was probably on coke, but they both liked my shoes so there you go.

I kind of like mixing pretty jewelry with grungier clothes. I don't know why. I love the look for some reason. I will gladly wear ripped jeans with a pearl necklace.

My only problem were my Chucks. I guess they weren't completely broken in yet because I got a small blister on my toe but I have been through worse shoe-wise. Those shorts are the most comfy I've ever owned. And if you want the octopus cuff, get it now. Modcloth always sells out of it and it takes forever to get it back!

First post!

I have no idea if I'm actually going to use this thing or not, but I guess I'm going to post things that I like and have recently purchased. Maybe I can use it as a way to keep track of stores I like, idk. So let's get started!

Here is what I'm wearing today:

I pretty much dress for comfort on most days. The nail polish is Sally Hansen. It's affordable, comes in millions of colors, and is amazing. It's durable and dries really fast. The hoodie I recently found on sale and is fantastic. Wrapped in Nintendo all day with a comfy tank top underneath? Yes please!

The jeans are my favorite. Old Navy recently released skinny and slim jeans with flares. I've always had problems with jeans being tight in the waist and baggy in the legs - no more! I already bought four pairs :x

Even though you can't see my socks, I will still wear colorful ones more often than not. And these actually match my awesome comfy sneakers!

Last is the necklace from Forever 21. Their clothing leaves something to be desired sometimes, but their jewelry is amazing. It's so affordable (most of it is under $10) and is so cute an unique. I can't walk in that store without walking out with three or four necklaces. I need hooks or something.
